Sorake beach is located in Fanayama Sub-District of Southern Nias and neighboring with Lagundri beach. It is about twelve kilometers from Telukdalam city and people usually go there by car, bus, motorcycle or by bike even by ship.

Sorake beach is famous beach with its big and beautiful wave therefore, surfing competition is done here every year and the competitors usually come from different nations but some of them are local people. The competition is frequently crowded by many visitors from different places to see the surfers when rolling themselves.

Every day, Sorake beach does not quiet by the visitors because tourists always come there. The visitors usually have different aims when visiting it.
